Located just off the 5 fwy, Avery Pkwy exit and down the road a piece on a deserted stretch of road at Camino Capistrano on the right side of the railroad tracks! Believe me, these details are important because there is nothing else out here.

An eclectic saloon, it has plenty of character including various signs, bicycles and other objects suspended from the ceiling with the cobwebs. There is no food to speak of unless your diet consists of peanuts, pretzels and potato chips, so don’t go on an empty stomach or you may be disappointed. The waitresses are friendly and the service is good, although it doesn’t hurt to be assertive when ordering drinks. Rumor has it this place is world-famous for the annual mooning of the Amtrak, which occurs the second Saturday of each July. This little ritual is so well known, it’s said the Amtrak drivers bid for the shift well in advance! There are literally thousands of people who show up for this block party to bare their buns in unity at what started off as a bar room prank some twenty years ago, and has been carried on ever since! If you like Turks or Swallows Inn then you’ll love this little place, as it’s along the same vein as these two.
